District 18, which is part of BC/Yukon, Area 79, includes Bowen Island, North Vancouver, and West Vancouver.

The District is on the “North Shore”, across the Burrard Inlet from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

There are several AA meetings each week, with a number of Groups and General Service Representatives (GSRs) in the District.

The District has a very active and enthusiastic Cooperation with the Professional Community/Public Information (CPC/PI) Committee.

The District has an annual convention known as “The North Shore Round Up“.
The first “Round Up” was organized by North Shore members of AA in February 1972.
The “Round Up” is currently held on the Easter weekend each year.

The District also hosts at least two more events each year. They are “Founder’s Day” and the “Annual Picnic”.
